Nutrition in a Knapsack (NIK)

This program is designed to address chronic hunger among elementary-age children in public schools. It provides nutritious food to children who might not otherwise have adequate food over the weekend. Each bag is packed with child-friendly, nutritious, shelf stable food items for an average of two days (weekends).

First UMC of Jupiter-Tequesta is honored to partner with C.R.O.S. Ministries, Jupiter FIRST,  and Jupiter Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year. If you would like to know how you can help with packing the food, transporting the food, distributing the food and/or contributions to assist with this vital ministry, please contact our church office at 561-746-8116. .
