Rock the Universe (1).png

Rock the Universe is Florida's largest Christian musical festival.

RTU lets fans enjoy performances by some of Christian music’s top artists, offers worship experiences, and a chance to enjoy theme park attractions during an unforgettable weekend of “faith, fun, and fellowship” at Universal Studios Florida.

TO RSVP, PLEASE COMPLETE 3 SIMPLE STEPS:

1. Text Kelly a current picture of yourself to RSVP

2. Have an updated & notarized medical release form

3. Choose one of the 3 ways to pay:

  • Text to Give: Text $230 RTU to 855-643-3967

  • Pay Online HERE on the Giving Page

  • Bring cash or check to church on Sunday

  • We will be traveling back to the church at the end of the night rather than staying in a hotel. We will be treating this like a lock in experience with optional activities until church ends at 10:30 AM.

  • We will be arriving early to Orlando to walk, enjoy and/or eat at City Walk before entering RTU when it starts at 4:00 PM.

  • The money typically used towards our hotel is now being used for Fast Passes for everyone. The crowds are large so a Fast Pass helps the youth experience more rides throughout the night.

  •  We will meet at the church on Saturday, January 25th at 10:40 am. This time will be used to take a group photo, last minute instructions, and the opportunity to put any items needed inside the church for when we return (including a pillow, blanket, air mattress if you'd like to set it up etc.) before loading the charter bus. We will leave the parking lot at 11:02 am.

  • I will let everyone know when they verbally commit if their medical release is up to date. If you have never filled one out, you can click the link above to print, complete, notarize, and turn in.

ROCK THE UNIVERSE 2024 SCHEDULE & FAQ :

 When & Where?
Universal Studios Orlando, January 25-26

Will There Be a Lunch Stop Before RTU?
No stops. Please bring an easy to eat snack/meal/lunch for the bus ride to Universal or they can choose to eat at City Walk when we arrive. A bathroom will be available on the bus. We are required to keep trash and mess to a minimum or extra charges will be billed to the church.

Will They Need Additional Money?
Youth will need to bring additional money for any food or souvenirs for City Walk and inside the park

What is included in the trip?
RTU Ticket, FAST PASS for all of the rides, charter bus, activities back at church, Sunday breakfast, and endless laughs and memories!

How Can I Be Prepared for RTU?
Please have your youth load the bus with what they will wear and need for inside the park. They will need to load the bus ready to unload and walk straight into Universal. We will not be stopping. It’s a fast departure off the bus. Please continue to watch the weather to monitor if they will need warm clothes. If your youth wants a pillow, blanket, sleeping bag, toothbrush, etc. for the window of time back at church from 4:00 AM – 10:30 AM, they can leave it inside the church before we leave.

Will We Have to Walk in One Large Group?
We will ask all our youth to be in groups of 4 or more to walk around the park. Every adult is assigned a small group that they are responsible for the entire night. They will not be required to stay with the adult but they will be given instructions on when and how to check in with a picture text at predetermined times throughout the night with their assigned adult. Failure to check in will result in hanging out with Kelly and carrying her bags for the night. Our youth have always been super respectful with this process, and I anticipate it being another great year. No one should wait by themselves while the rest of their group is on a ride. If your youth does not have a phone, please do not worry. We will be able to work around that detail.

PLEASE NOTE: The park is open to the general public until 6pm. After that time, the groups inside the park are their for the special event.

Can my youth drive home when you get back to the church at 4:00 AM?
No. We have a lot of drivers and I’m sure some will be anxious for their beds after sitting for 2+ hours. I do not feel comfortable having anyone drive at that time of the morning regardless of their driving skills. If it is imperative to have them home and not stay for the remainder of the activities, please contact Kelly prior to the trip and we can arrange a parent pick up. Please have this conversation with your youth prior to the trip to avoid exhausted confrontation as well as a middle of the night phone call to you for pick up.
